Nesrin Comert


Nesrin Comert (MBA) is an accomplished Interior Architect, international advocate, and volunteer leader, known for her resilience, courage, and dedication to empowering others. She blends design excellence with meaningful social impact, believing that well-designed spaces and initiatives can transform lives and communities.

Education Nesrin has pursued diverse learning opportunities, combining creativity, leadership, and social engagement. She has recently completed both the Women’s Leadership Development Program (University of Oxford) and a Philosophy Program (MOOC) ( University of Edinburgh).

She has made significant contributions to global advocacy and professional practice. She currently holds the following roles:

  • UN Council Member, UN Representative and Conference Focal Point, WelcomeClubs International – promoting and advocating SDG 4 and SDG 5

  • Second Founder and President, Welcome to London International Club – fostering cultural connection and leadership, valuing friendship, understanding, and education

And fulfils leadership positions in:

  • Federation of International Women’s Associations in London (FIWAL), Executive Committee Member

  • Anglo-Turkish Society, Executive Council Member

  • Associations of Turkish Women in Britain (ATWIB)

  • Trustee, NAWO – architect of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign 2025

  • Member of SBID and RIBA

After surviving both an arranged marriage and a severe car accident, Nesrin rebuilt her life, channelling adversity into empowering women, girls, and communities worldwide. Her work and advocacy have earned her international recognition for combining design, leadership, and social impact.
